Experts debated what 2008 will mean for the domain name industry at last month’s registrar conference held by .uk registry Nominet, predicting strong growth for the suffix. There were also warnings from some quarters over the continued rise of the practice of domain tasting, and firms were urged to tightly manage their domain name portfolios.
Lesley Cowley, chief executive of Nominet, predicted the UK top-level domain would reach 10 million subscribers next year, but she added that trust and security would increasingly be differentiators for registrars as they seek to retain customers.

Often when people decide to register a domain name for their website, they will opt for some of the more commonly used top-level domains like .com, .org or .net, because they feel this gives their site a more professional appearance and will appeal to an international audience. Although this is arguably true, registering for country-code top-level domains is something that could prove beneficial to your company, especially if you conduct your business quite frequently in other particular countries.

The Disney Enquirer is back with a brand new, bigger than ever set of Future Disney Domain Names that will be developed based on upcoming movie releases and other Diney related projects. .
Amongst the new domain names is the new official title of the upcoming Jungle Cruise movie along with several other movie and park-related domains. G-Force is a 2009 live action/CGI movie produced by Jerry Bruckheimer about “A specially trained squad of guinea pigs is dispatched to stop a diabolical billionaire from taking over the world.” And it will apparently be released in Disney Digital 3D! Nicolas Cage has signed onto the movie, pairing up Cage and Bruckheimer yet again.
